The Middle Way is simply to live an authentic, balance way within the Church and Godpel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
What this means to me is that the enlightened life lives authentically centered on the being of Jesus Christ. In the Didache, an ancient christian teaching, there are two ways, the way of life, and the way of death. The Way of Life is to follow the first and second commandments, and to treat others according to the golden rule. In the book of Mormon, Jesus explains thr Doctrine of Christ as being to have faith, to repent, to be reborn through baptism and to come unto him. He explicitly says that no-one is to teach anything more or less than this as “His Doctrine.”
So the Middle Way is first and foremost centered on Christ, and from this center, achieve authentic balance and integrity in one’s life.
